Having worked in fundraising for a number of years now, I have found that many groups are growing weary of cookie dough, candy, and wrapping paper/trinket fundraisers. Not to mention the fact that some states have made the sale of candy or cookie dough on campus illegal.
I also have a passion for the environment and realized long ago that individuals, despite the ever present "but what can I do??" question, can in fact make a difference for our planet. Whether it is by reducing plastic bag waste (using a reusable shopping bag just once a week can eliminate 500 bags a year), or planting a tree (trees drastically reduce runoff related pollution, one persons actions can make immediate and legitimate improvements for the environment.
With all that in mind, I have started Go Green Fundraising. Go Green Fundraising offers a broad range of earth friendly fundraising products all designed to help people improve the earth. Everything we sell is either earth friendly or completely organic.
